Rafidah joined Perinsuran in 1997 and now holds a majority shareholding in the company. She is a graduate of the University of Surrey where she earned a masters’ degree in Marketing.

Rafidah has a strong commercial, business development and operational background in the insurance broking sector. She is also skilled in market and trend analysis, customer experience management, and multiple promotional activities.

Since taking a majority stake in Perinsuran Brokar, she has overhauled and transformed the company and it is now the 2nd largest home grown corporate insurance broker in Malaysia.

Rafidah is responsible for the day to day running of the organization. This covers strategy development and implementation, financial performance, operations, governance, training, people and key external relationships as she plays a prominent role in stakeholder management.

With her extensive local and international business relationships and in depth understanding of the general insurance industry, she sets the direction for the organization and manages strategy implementation.
