Morshidi joined Perinsuran Brokar in November 2022 as General Manager. He brings with him 32 years of experience in the Insurance industry. From insurance broking, marketing to general insurance underwriting and reinsurance. Shidi was also a committee member of Malaysian Energy Risk Insurance Consortium (MERIC) from 2015 to 2019, underwriting and deciding Oil & Gas risks offered by the market, on behalf of Consortium members.

Morshidi is also a seasoned marketing underwriter with solid technical skills and a point of reference with peers. He also managed large global companies during his tenure in Jerneh Insurance, which represented global insurers like Factory Mutual (FM Global), Winterthur Insurance, Gerling and the like. He spent 12 years in Jerneh handling the Global Accounts before moving to Tokio Marine in 2004 to join their Broking Dept.

He then moved to Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Bhd in 2014 as Head of Commercial Lines in the Underwriting Division, assisting the Head of Underwriting to maintain the healthy balance of General Underwriting and increasing the profitability of the Company.

In April 2023, he was appointed as Senior General Manager.
