Khairi has 30 years of experience in the Insurance Industry. He has been attached to various companies in the Takaful and conventional industry with an extensive exposure to Underwriting, Facultative Reinsurance and treaty. He was the committee of the Retakaful Industry working committee for 2 years.

He first started his career with the Malaysia British Assurance as a trainee Fire Underwriter. He was trained in assessing new and renewal proposals, premium rating and loading computation, policy issuance, risk surveys and follow-up actions on survey compliances.

Khairi joined the company in May 2023 as Senior Manager-Reinsurance to handle and manage the Facultative Reinsurance Division.

Prior to joining us, Khairi was a Senior Manager of Antah Insurance Brokers. His main portfolio in Antah is servicing Petronas Annual Insurance Programme, which includes of Downstream, Onshore, & Petronas Block Construction All Risks and Petronas Property in Sudan. He is also responsible in risk surveying for Petronas Programme and coordinator for the survey arrangement.
